I know I'm not alone when I say I seriously miss Joe Piscopo. I just visited his website and read an article mentioning a script he's currently shopping around called Joey Benefit. It's about a guy named Joey Beneficio who is desperately trying to make it in show biz but never gets his big break. So, he plays every benefit and two-bit gig he can play hoping for his big break. I think it sounds like a pretty funny idea but then again I also thought the movie Wise Guys was hilarious. I'm hoping some of these Hollywood big shots will stop wasting money on some of the garbage they're cranking out these days and give Mr. Piscopo another crack at the silver screen. Until that happens you can check out this hysterical classic clip from SNL back when people had the patience to call the show by its full title.
